Classic Kawasaki Z900RS motorcycle arrives in Vietnam
The Kawasaki retro motorcycle model has just been officially introduced in the Vietnamese market, imported completely from Japan, and has no official price yet.
Kawasaki Z900RS is a classic style car launched in October 2017. This model has just appeared in Vietnam but has no official price yet. The expected selling date is February 2018. According to the distributor, the price of Z900RS may be quite high because it is imported completely from Japan. The factory price of this model is from 10,999 to 11,199 USD, about 3,000 USD higher than Z900. |
The Kawasaki Z900RS is inspired by the legendary Z1 model of the past. This model uses the Z900 as a basis because this naked bike has many similarities with the old Z1 model, both equipped with engines in the 900 cc segment. |
The 17-liter round fuel tank is suitable for long distances. If the tank is full, the vehicle can run about 300 km. The dry weight of the Z900RS is 214 kg. |
The center console is designed in a classic style with two round clocks displaying speed and engine rpm. In addition, the car also has an LCD screen in the middle to display trip parameters, something that previous classic car models did not have. |
The round headlights with chrome trim are retro in style but still equipped with high-performance LED lights. The turn signals also use quite modern LED bulbs. |
The 4-cylinder inline engine, DOHC, liquid and air cooled, 948 cc capacity is similar to the Z900 but the capacity is reduced to 110 horsepower (compared to 126 horsepower on the Z900). Maximum torque is 99 Nm. This engine block comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. |
The front of the car is equipped with a pair of inverted forks, the spring stiffness is also reduced to help the car smoother on long journeys compared to sports models. Dual front disc brakes combined with ABS anti-lock braking. Direct competitors of the Z900RS are the Ducati Scrambler, Triumph Bonneville T100 and Yamaha XSR900. |
