Mourinho is impatient because Man Utd is sluggish in the transfer process.
Three out of four players Jose Mourinho needs for the new season have yet to be bought by Man Utd's board.
Before enjoying his summer vacation, Mourinho only briefly told the transfer bosses at Man Utd: "I have put on Ed Woodward's (Vice President of the Club) desk the list of players to buy. Now it's his job, and I'm resting."

Mourinho is impatient as Man Utd only has one new player - Lindelof - among the four names he asked the board to recruit this summer. |
But as the new season is drawing near, the players Mourinho needs are still nowhere to be seen. Since the beginning of the summer, Man Utd has only had one new player, center-back Victor Lindelof, transferred from Benfica. This contract was negotiated in the middle of last season. The deals for Alvaro Morata, Nemanja Matic, and Ivan Perisic are still delayed.
According to The Sun, the "Special One" is very unhappy with the transfer work at Man Utd. Mourinho has repeatedly stated that he needs a top striker but has yet to find one. While the "oil is boiling, fire is burning", Ed Woodward flew to New Zealand to watch the England rugby team play.
Man Utd have yet to finalise a deal for Morata as they are still negotiating a transfer fee with Real Madrid. The English club have offered £79 million for a player who is often on the bench. But Real believe Morata is worth more than £100 million. The 24-year-old striker started 14 La Liga games last season, scoring 15 goals. In all competitions, Morata scored 20 goals and had five assists.

Mourinho did not hide his frustration when Ed Woodward went to Australia to watch rugby instead of staying in Europe to speed up the transfer process. |
Man Utd also had a £34m offer for Perisic rejected by Inter Milan. Only Matic is likely to arrive at Old Trafford soon, after Chelsea bought Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco. Man Utd and Chelsea are said to have agreed on a £46m price for Perisic.
Man Utd will gather next week, preparing to leave for the US for the summer tour. On July 15, the "Red Devils" will play their first match against LA Galaxy. In the US, Jose Mourinho and his team will also face Real and Barca.
