Under her leadership, IMAP Education and Training Company has achieved significant accomplishments, striving to become the number one education group for language and skills training in Vietnam.

"At that moment, I understood that I wanted to live a meaningful life, helping others change through knowledge and inspiration.",She recalled.
Overcoming initial difficulties in funding and organizational and teaching experience, the Ms Hoa TOEIC brand was launched in June 2012. The image of a cheerful, energetic teacher leading to active and lively lessons attracted a large number of young people. With its distinctive training approach, emphasizing inspirational elements and operating under a professional management model, Ms Hoa English has truly made a significant mark in the English teaching and learning environment in Hanoi.
That's a very new concept from teacher Ms. Hoa. For her, learning English isn't a chore, but a joy and a discovery. Every day in class, she encourages her students to put their emotions into the language, to feel it in their own way, and to memorize vocabulary through their own different interpretations.
She saw beyond the rigid shell of language a vibrant world full of surprises and delights. For example, the word "fireworks" simply means fireworks, but she saw the combination of "fire" and "works" as masterpieces, making "fireworks" beautiful with the meaning "masterpiece of fire." While most people only think of "firefighter," Hoa saw it as "a hero fighting against fire"—a noble profession, because "fighter" means "warrior." Similarly, the word "businessman" is translated as "entrepreneur"—a high-status profession in society—but native speakers simply consider it a busy man, because "businessman" contains "busy."
Ms. Hoa believes that if classes are tied to tasks and responsibilities, students will easily become discouraged and lose motivation to pursue their studies. Therefore, she teaches her students to love English with all their hearts. "Learn by heart" is not just about memorizing, but about "learning with all your heart."
With enthusiasm and a positive attitude, Ms. Hoa believes that a teacher is not only someone who imparts knowledge and skills but also someone who instills a positive attitude, inspires passion, and motivates learners. Therefore, her classes are always fun and energetic. In her classes, students overcome shyness, fear of making mistakes, and reluctance to speak, instead immersing themselves in conversations, discovering new things, and confidently asserting their self-worth.
In 2012, realizing that many people wanted to learn English but lacked the opportunity to attend classes, Ms. Hoa decided to launch a website to share her knowledge and experiences in learning English. Back then, she worked during the day and diligently prepared lessons and wrote inspirational stories about learning English in the evenings. It was hard work, but those were the best days of her youth; she lived and worked to the fullest, giving valuable insights to others.
As one of the first sources in Vietnam to share free English knowledge and lessons, her website's readership grew daily, and the number of students attending her center also increased. In those early days, she worked tirelessly teaching until her voice became hoarse and she lost her voice, sometimes even requiring hospitalization. However, she quickly returned because there were so many students waiting for her there. Some students cycled 20 km to class regularly, others rode their motorbikes from Hai Phong to Hanoi and back home overnight, and even elderly people still came to class… all of this became her motivation to constantly strive, dedicate herself wholeheartedly, and not shy away from difficulties or hardships.
Over 14 years of development, Ms. Hoa and her colleagues have built IMAP Education and Training Company into a system with more than 100 branches nationwide, with 6 brands: Ms. Hoa TOEIC, Ms. Hoa Communication, Ms. Hoa Junior, IELTS Fighter, Ebomb, and IMAP Pro; empowering over 1.5 million people to confidently speak English.
In 2021, IMAP was honored to be among the top 100 ASEAN businesses and won the title of "Leading Enterprise in English Language Education and Training".
In 2023, MAP Vietnam was awarded the "Educational Environment of the Year" award at the first "Smart Education Initiative - SEI Awards" ceremony.
And on July 27, 2025, at the IDP Partner Excellence Awards ceremony – an annual event organized by IDP Education – IELTS Fighter, a brand under the IMAP Vietnam system, was honored to be named in two important categories: Top IDP Partner in Southeast Asia for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025), and Top system with the highest number of students achieving high scores in the region.
These prestigious awards recognize IELTS Fighter's outstanding contributions to teaching and training students to achieve high scores in the IELTS exam, not only in Vietnam but also throughout Southeast Asia.
Why did Ms Hoa English, and later IMAP Education and Training Joint Stock Company, achieve such breakthrough growth in just 14 years?
The golden key to unlocking every door at IMAP is its methodology. Whether teaching or recruiting, Ms. Hoa always adheres to a rigorous standard of proficiency and skills. She emphasizes experiential learning, interaction, and continuous language practice between teacher and student to ensure effective learning. With the exclusive RIPL method, students conquer English through inspiring lessons, continuous language practice, and a carefully selected knowledge system. RIPL is composed of four elements: R - Refined Knowledge, I - Inspiration, P - Practice, and L - Logic.
To save students time, Ms. Hoa advocates teaching only what students need, not covering everything English has to offer. This doesn't mean teaching shortcuts or rote memorization. The RIPL method focuses on key knowledge points with high applicability in exams or daily work. Ms. Hoa designs her lessons to be personalized for each student, stating: "Previously, teachers proactively decided the content of the lesson, but now the student must be at the center. Teachers shouldn't share what they know, but teach exactly what the learner needs. In addition, during the teaching process, teachers must closely monitor, understand weaknesses, and know how to unlock individual potential."
With personal development as the goal of every lesson, students come to Ms. Hoa's classes not only to fulfill their passion for foreign languages but also to have the opportunity to explore their potential. Teachers need to understand the potential, expectations, and anxieties of their students, and delve into their learning like a true family member. After each course, a teacher who follows the right path will activate and develop the potential of their students during that period. This is the guiding principle throughout the Ms. Hoa English system's training methodology.
Ms. Hoa also designed her lessons using a flipped classroom approach. Instead of the traditional method of learning in class and doing homework, students learn and research independently at home using video lectures first, then discuss, present, and summarize the knowledge in class with the teachers. This process also creates opportunities for teachers, students, and parents to apply technology, digital lectures, online games, and learning support websites to bring excitement and new experiences to learners. This learning method has helped students practice the language more, develop critical thinking, and promote creativity in learning.
Keeping pace with the 4.0 era, IMAP, under the leadership of Ms. Hoa, has pioneered digital transformation in English language training – turning technology into a "silent teaching assistant" in the learning journey of millions of students.
Back in 2020, when the pandemic broke out, 98% of IMAP's classes were successfully converted to online within just a few days. The E-Bomb platform enabled hundreds of thousands of students nationwide to continue their studies without interruption, saving time and money and optimizing their active learning experience.
Along with digitized learning materials, creating a rich archive and display on a system of free online learning channels, Ms. Hoa continues her mission of inspiring by perfecting and expanding free online learning channels for everyone across multiple platforms including websites, fanpages, YouTube, Instagram, etc. She is also a familiar face in career guidance seminars, workshops sharing English learning methods, and accompanying educational programs on VTV2, VTV6, and other channels.

Despite being busy with many plans and projects, deep in her heart, Ms. Hoa still cherishes her hometown of Nghe An, a place known for its studiousness and strong sense of community. Quynh Luu village, where she grew up amidst hardship, was compensated by the warm affection of her family, teachers, and friends. Ms. Hoa still remembers her middle school days, when she was just an average student, nothing outstanding compared to her classmates. But thanks to the encouragement and support, and the gentle, forgiving smiles in response to her somewhat naive answers, a love for foreign languages gradually blossomed within her. Therefore, Ms. Hoa approached English with gratitude – gratitude for the open hearts that allowed her to embark on this great path, and gratitude for the beauty of the language with its multifaceted meanings.
Despite having lived in Hanoi for nearly 30 years, Ms. Hoa still retains the warm, deep accent of Nghe An province whenever she teaches. She believes that her accent reflects the character and soul of people from Central Vietnam – simple, straightforward, and honest. She loves the heartfelt folk songs of Nghe An, and her family still speaks to each other in the Nghe An accent as a way of preserving the traditions of their homeland.
Hoa still remembers the day her father saw her and her sister off on the train to Hanoi for their studies. He told them that the family was struggling financially and could only afford to support them for half the journey; they had to manage the rest themselves. She also remembers her first entrepreneurial venture, starting with nothing but 60 million dong from her parents' savings, beginning a journey to realize her passion of becoming an inspirational ambassador for the English language.
Looking back, it was the unwavering will to face difficulties and rise above adversity, the diligent and hardworking spirit, and a kind and generous heart—these inherent traits of the people of Nghe An—that helped Ms. Hoa achieve the success she has today. Therefore, this renowned English teacher is even more proud and grateful to her homeland of Nghe An, and her warm, deep Nghe An accent continues to radiate love and a mission that she and her colleagues are striving towards."Help 10 million Vietnamese people speak English confidently.".
On November 20th, we once again proudly look back on the inspiring journey of knowledge that Ms. Hoa has painstakingly built over the past 14 years. She is not only a teacher, but also an endless source of inspiration, an ambassador who inspires millions of Vietnamese people who love English and aspire to knowledge.
With her innovative and creative teaching methods and unwavering dedication, she has brought not only knowledge but also passion and inspiration. It is this spirit that has helped her and her team build a strong educational brand, not only in Vietnam but also expanding its reach far and wide.
