According to an exclusive report by Goal, Manchester United have reached an agreement to permanently acquire the striker for a fee of 56 million euros. In total, MU have spent 64 million euros to acquire the player. This figure is equivalent to the amount Monaco spent to acquire El Tigre from Atletico Madrid (60 million euros).
Currently, Falcao's salary at Old Trafford is around £305,000 per week. This income will remain unchanged after the player signs a long-term contract with the club.
Manchester United were able to complete this deal largely thanks to Falcao. Over the past period, the Colombian striker has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay with the Red Devils long-term. It was Falcao who influenced his agent, Jorge Mendes, to arrange this transfer.
Overall, Falcao has been relatively successful at his new club so far. After 4 appearances in the Premier League, the "Tiger" has contributed 1 goal and 2 assists for MU.
