MU agrees to sell McTominay to Napoli for 25 million pounds
Napoli and MU have reached an agreement on the transfer fee of Scottish player, McTominay.
Why did McTominay leave?
Napoli have agreed to pay MU £25m to get McTominay's signature.

In addition, the Red Devils will receive a percentage of any future fees if the player is sold. Currently, it is only waiting for McTominay to make a final decision.
McTominay's contract with MU will expire in just 1 year. Although there are many offers to extend, MU has decided to sell him to have more funds to add to the squad. Selling McTominay also helps MU comply with the financial regulations of the Premier League.

MU targets Manuel Ugarte
The proceeds from the sale of McTominay will be used by MU to recruit midfielder Manuel Ugarte from PSG. The Uruguayan midfielder is the Red Devils' top target in this summer's transfer window. However, to get Ugarte's signature, MU will have to pay a large fee, estimated at around 60 million euros.
Napoli successfully convinced McTominay?
Napoli president Giovanni Manna has been in Manchester to try and convince McTominay to move to Serie A. Playing in one of the world's most exciting leagues and under the guidance of Antonio Conte will surely be a big draw for the Scottish midfielder.
