(Baonghean) - Job's tears (Bo bo) is a crop that has been encouraged for cultivation in mountainous districts in recent years. In some districts such as Tuong Duong, Ky Son, and Que Phong, which have a cold climate suitable for the growth of Job's tears, dried Job's tears (called "mac ca" in Thai) are purchased directly by traders. Currently, it is Job's tears season. Visiting the high mountainous districts at this time, one encounters the scene of people of the Mong, Thai, and Khmu ethnic groups busily harvesting Job's tears. Job's tears are dried in front of drying yards, on the floor, on mossy thatched roofs, or on concrete roads.
