On October 8, Thuan An Town Police, Binh Duong, said they had just broken up many rings of counterfeiting seals and documents to defraud and appropriate property.

Specifically, Thuan An Town Police have temporarily detained and investigated the acts of "forging seals and documents of agencies and organizations" and "fraudulently appropriating property" of 4 young men: Dinh Hoang Tu (25 years old), Ngo Thanh Tam (26 years old), Dang Phan Quoc Khai (26 years old) and Tran Hoang Thuan (22 years old).

In addition, the investigation agency also arrested but released on bail 3 accomplices: Le Thi Ngoc Huyen (17 years old), Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen (36 years old) and Doan Thi Thuy Van (23 years old).

According to initial investigation, Dinh Hoang Tu and Ngo Thanh Tam were loan application support staff at a bank branch in Binh Duong.

During their work, they saw many people wanting to borrow money but were not approved due to lack of documents, so these two people came up with the idea of forging documents to legalize the loan application for customers.

After negotiating with the customer, each approved loan application will collect 2-3 million VND from the customer, even in some cases up to half of the loan amount.

With fake documents, many electronics supermarkets were "tricked", allowing customers to buy many valuable assets such as motorbikes and mobile phones on installments.

In addition to falsifying documents for customers and taking money according to the above percentage, these people also falsified documents and bought goods on installment at supermarkets. The total amount of money that was stolen from the supermarkets was nearly 60 million VND.

Using similar tricks, another ring of counterfeiting seals and documents to buy goods on installments has just been busted by Thuan An Town Police.

The investigation agency has temporarily detained 5 people including: Tran Thanh Tai (31 years old), Phan Nguyen Dinh Du (17 years old), Nguyen Huu Tri (23 years old), Cao Van Nguyen (29 years old) and Nguyen Trung Dien (26 years old).

There is also another young man, Thach Quy (17 years old), who was released on bail due to medical treatment.

When searching the residences and workplaces of the 6 people above, the investigation agency seized dozens of fake bank statements, salary confirmations, work confirmations, etc.

At the investigation agency, these people confessed that from June 2016 until now, they have forged dozens of bank loan applications, purchased goods on installments, and have bought many televisions, mobile phones, etc. Some of the forged installment purchase applications have even been approved for loans worth up to 50 million VND.
