Thunderstorms in the North for the next 3 days
Today, the North continues to have heavy rain over a wide area, flash floods and landslides are at risk, especially in mountainous provinces.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of low pressure trough combined with high-altitude wind convergence, the North will continue to have widespread heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a high possibility of tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind, level 1 natural disaster risk.
Rain will last until June 20 with average rainfall of 150-200mm, over 250mm in some places. Hanoi and the delta provinces will have less rain, with average rainfall of 50-150mm.
Due to the rain, the temperature across the North is quite cool, with common temperatures around 28-32 degrees Celsius and 23-27 degrees Celsius at night.

The Central provinces will have less heat, with some rain during the day. The highest temperature will be around 32-35 degrees Celsius.
Southern provinces have sunny days, with showers in some places in the late afternoon and at night. Lowest temperature is about 25-28 degrees Celsius, highest is 32-35 degrees Celsius.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warned of flash floods and landslides in some areas of the provinces such as Lai Chau, Son La, Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, and Tuyen Quang.
