On the afternoon of May 8, the US Navy's high-speed expeditionary transport ship USNS Fall River (T-EPF-4) docked at Tien Sa Port (Da Nang) to launch the Pacific Partnership 2017 program taking place from May 8-18. The ship can travel at a speed of 80 km/h.

The ship is designed with a slot in the middle of the hull. T-EPF-4 uses 4 MTU 20V8000 M71L/4 diesel engines, ZF 60000NR2H reducer. The ship's speed is 43 knots, meaning it can travel a maximum of 80 km per hour. |
