On July 14, France held a large-scale military parade to celebrate its National Day on the Champs-Elysees, connecting the Arc de Triomphe with the Place de la Concorde. The parade was attended by many French military forces and senior leaders of the French Government. Key leaders of the European Union, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, were present at the ceremony.
The parade, with the participation of 4,300 soldiers of the French armed forces, passed through the Champs Elysees to the Place de la Concorde, while in the sky of the capital Paris, fighter planes made an impressive display of smoke in the colors of the French flag: blue, white, and red. This was one of the most impressive moments of the parade. 196 military vehicles, 237 horses, 69 planes and 39 helicopters were mobilized to participate in the parade.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have been deployed in neighborhoods in 10 major cities across the country, including Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Miami, New York and San Francisco. The plan is estimated to target at least 2,000 immigrants who have been ordered deported but remain in the country illegally.
Speaking about this campaign, US President Donald Trump said: "The campaign begins on July 14 and the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement will return illegal immigrants to their country of origin or they will be prosecuted, detained or imprisoned in their own country. We will focus on criminals, before implementing other groups."
Cuba restores prime minister title

On July 13, with an absolute consensus, the Cuban National Assembly passed the new Election Law, which restores the president-prime minister mechanism, which was changed under the 1976 Constitution. According to a VNA correspondent in Havana, with this new regulation, the National Assembly will still be the body that elects key leadership positions of the State from among its delegates and according to the nomination of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party.
According to the new Election Law, the term of office for these positions is 5 years and each individual can hold a leadership position for a maximum of 2 terms. The Election Law also specifies new points of the 2019 Constitution on defining the positions of Governor and Provincial Chief Minister, and both of these positions are elected indirectly, through the conference of delegates of the People's Councils of districts in the province.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) said Huawei is planning to lay off a large number of employees in the United States due to difficulties following the US ban.WSJsaid the layoffs are likely to affect 850 employees at its US-based research and development subsidiary Futurewei Technologies.
Hundreds of Huawei employees will be laid off, WSJ sources say. Chinese employees in the US will have the right to return home and remain with the company. Some employees have already been notified of the layoffs. WSJ says more specific plans for staff cuts will be announced soon.
Britain sets conditions for releasing Iranian supertanker

The UK Foreign Secretary said London was ready to release the Grace 1 if Tehran guaranteed the destination of the 2.1 million barrels of oil on board was not Syria. "I have just had a constructive phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. I assured him that our concern is the destination, not the origin, of the Grace 1's oil," British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt wrote on Twitter. "The UK will facilitate the release of the ship if it is given assurances that it is not going to Syria."
Meanwhile, Iranian state media confirmed that the ship was carrying crude oil to the Iraqi port of Basra. Tehran officials threatened to seize the London tanker in retaliation.
