US prepares “Trojan horse” strategy against Russia
The Pentagon is developing a new strategy for conducting war against Russia and China, the main feature of which is "covert invasion" deep into enemy territory. This was stated by the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, General David Goldfein in a speech at the Brookings Institution in Washington, Telepolis reported.
In addition, Mr. Goldfayn said that the new strategy will involve all branches of the US military, with the main role belonging to the F-35 fighter jet, as the coordinating headquarters for the attack.
The US admiral also stated that the idea of the new strategy is to attack the weak points, avoiding collision with the enemy's strong points.
“This is a fundamental change, both cultural and technical,” said Goldfine, noting that the new strategy will give the US military an “asymmetric advantage” over its enemies.
The publication notes that the new US strategy is reminiscent of the “Trojan horse” tactic, but given that both Russia and China possess modern weapons, how the United States will implement this concept remains a mystery.
