US plans to create super fleet for war with China and Russia

The senator proposed deploying up to 15 carrier strike groups, 6 expeditionary ships, 54 supply ships and 8 ships operating in Arctic latitudes. The corresponding proposal is published on the Congressional website.
In addition, the senator proposed building 156 ships of different displacements, carrying missile weapons. The strategic balance will have to be 12 ballistic missile submarines and 100 multi-purpose nuclear submarines. In addition, until 2050, the above-mentioned group of ships will be responsible for maintaining the combat capability of the US Navy anywhere in the world.
