US may stop supplying F-35 to Türkiye because of buying S-400 from Russia
Washington is considering suspending preparations for the delivery of F-35 aircraft to Türkiye, Reuters reported, citing acting Assistant Secretary of Defense Katie Wilbarger.

“Decisions are being made constantly to prepare for the delivery of aircraft to Türkiye,” she told the news agency. “A lot of things could be put on hold to send a signal to them,” she said. She did not elaborate on what steps the US might take.
According to the news agency, the possible US actions are related to the fact that Washington has so far failed to convince President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that the purchase of Russian S-400 air defense missile systems will affect the security of the F-35.
