The US could use Tomahawk Block IV missiles against Syria.
According to military expert and editor-in-chief of Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko, the US President Donald Trump likely intended to refer to the latest modified version of the Tomahawk cruise missile, the Tomahawk Block IV, deployed at sea.

"Perhaps we are talking about the Tomahawk cruise missile in its latest modified version, the Tomahawk Block-IV, deployed at sea, capable of striking from US warships located in the eastern Mediterranean," said Korochenko.
Experts emphasize that a real US attack could trigger an international crisis, similar to the Caribbean crisis, when the world was on the brink of a world war.
According to open sources, the Tomahawk Block IV missile, which has been in service with the US armed forces since 2004, can hit targets at a distance of 1,600 km.
