According to the magazine, among the 40 people aged 20 to 44 who participated in the trial, 9 adults received the strongest dose of the vaccine, and 6 were 100% protected.

However, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), argues that the number of participants in clinical trials is still small and that sustained and effective immunity against various variants of the malaria parasite needs to be demonstrated.
The malaria vaccine, a collaborative product of Sanaria Pharmaceuticals and NIAID, is derived from the parasite "Plasmodium falciparum" and is currently in phase one research.
With these extremely promising results, the research is being expanded and clinical trials on children will be conducted in several African countries, which have some of the highest malaria infection rates in the world.
However, scientists say it will take at least another 10 years before a malaria vaccine can be widely used, as developing a new vaccine is always a long and complex process.
