US advises citizens to leave Russia immediately, Moscow declares to advance deep into western Ukraine
The United States has advised its citizens to leave Russia immediately due to the conflict in Ukraine and the risk of trouble with law enforcement agencies in the country.
According to the Guardian, this is not the first time that US authorities have issued such a warning. The last time the US Embassy did so was in September 2022, when Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree to mobilize part of the reserve army.

Russian troops claim to have advanced 2km into western Ukraine
The Russian military claims to have advanced 2km west of the front line in Ukraine in just four days.
“Russian troops have broken through enemy resistance and advanced several kilometers into the enemy’s defensive line. In four days, the front has moved 2 kilometers to the west. The enemy is actively laying mines in the territories it has left. This has become a problem for military personnel and equipment to advance,” the Interfax news agency quoted a statement from the Central Military District Command as saying on February 13.
Russia did not specify which parts of the vast front line, which includes parts of eastern and southern Ukraine, had shifted.
International news agencies said they could not independently verify the above information./.
