My Linh in Top 5 'Beauty with a Heart' at Miss World

The project 'Carrying electricity to the village' by the Vietnamese representative was highly appreciated at Miss World 2017.

On the morning of November 18, Miss World 2017 announced the list of Top 5 in the “Beauty with a Purpose” competition. My Linh was in the group alongside representatives from the Philippines, India, Indonesia, and South Africa.

"Beauty with a Heart" is considered an important competition with scores that affect the final results at Miss World. At the final on the evening of November 18, the organizing committee will announce the winner of this round.

Previously, My Linh was also the winner of group 18, and was given a special place in the Top 40 thanks to her convincing speaking ability in the Confrontation challenge.She is also leading the audience vote on the website.Miss World.

The program "Carrying electricity to the village" was carried out in Cu Vai village, Xa Ho commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province, following My Linh's plan in the Miss Vietnam 2016 contest.When doing this project in October,My Linh and crewisolateddue to the influence of tropical depression. However, the beauty queen completed the project on schedule on her 21st birthday.

After returning from Miss World in China, My Linh will return to Cu Vai village to visit the children and people there.

On the evening of November 17, My Linh and other contestants of Miss World 2017 participated in the rehearsal for the final night. On the evening of November 18, the final night was held at Sanya City Arena, Sanya City, Hainan Province with the participation of 118 contestants from various countries and territories.
