US wants to escape the “technology war” with China
America's trade war with China is just an excuse to start a technology war with its main competitor.
Wen Yang, a political analyst at Fudan University in Shanghai, told China Daily that the US strategy became clear after the story with big tech companies, as well as the incident with Huawei. Wen Yang believes that the US is targeting China's new technology companies.

The political analyst is confident that Huawei is not the last company that the Americans will target. He added that the US may have prepared a plan for such a campaign, but China is still considering possible retaliatory measures and has shown exceptional restraint in this regard.
To protect the country's interests, Beijing should launch effective, but not strong, counterattacks and prepare for the next blow from the US, expert Wen Yang said.
Moreover, he doubts China's willingness to take countermeasures, adding that the administration will likely continue to exercise traditional strategic restraint, as it has no intention of challenging America's global leadership and is "always ready to negotiate a truce."
