1. Always drink a glass of warm lemon water after waking up
Christie Brinkley once shared in New York Magazine, "I always drink a glass of warm lemon water with a little honey and cayenne pepper right after getting out of bed."
2. Eat breakfast like a queen
Brinkley always eats a healthy breakfast of scrambled eggs with mushrooms and spinach. She then drinks a smoothie made from sheep's yoghurt mixed with raspberries, blueberries, papaya, chia seeds, raw oats and hazelnuts.

3. Have a light lunch
Christie only eats salad with beans for lunch. In the afternoon, if she feels hungry, she will drink a glass of citrus juice and eat cereal.
4. Colorful dinner
For dinner, Christie eats brown rice with lentils, red and yellow peppers, sweet potatoes, and salad. The dinner menu is always colorful, keeping her feeling full and satisfied.

5. Don't follow trendy diets
"I've tried a few diets, from juice fasting to eating only one food for a few days, even a time when I only ate grapefruit for breakfast, but none of them really worked. A nutritious and healthy diet is what will give you a long-term toned body," Christie Brinkley shared.
6. Vegetarian since age 12
Christie hasn't touched a piece of meat since she was 12 years old.
7. Eat chocolate every day
Christie confessed that she is "addicted" to eating chocolate. She can eat a whole bar of dark chocolate every day.
