US - Japan will put pressure on China

(Baonghean.vn)-If it is completely cut off from crude oil supplies from China, Pyongyang will not be able to conduct military operations.

The Japanese newspaper Sankei commented on April 19 that being ready to put pressure on North Korea and China was the goal of the talks between Japanese Prime Minister Shizo Abe and US Vice President Mike Pence on April 18.

According to the newspaper, over the years, China has been somewhat too "condescending" to North Korea, leading to Pyongyang continuing to pursue its ambitions to develop nuclear weapons and missiles. The Sankei also believes that if China's crude oil supply is completely cut off, North Korea will not have military activities.

Accordingly, the US will rely on its allies and continue to ask China for support to resolve North Korea issues, because "North Korea is very vulnerable to pressure from China".

During the meeting in Tokyo, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe mentioned the principle of "peace through strength". North Korea is not only a threat to the US and Japan, but also a real threat to China. Tensions on the Korean peninsula have emphasized the importance of the common mission of the strong US-Japan alliance.

The Japanese Prime Minister agreed with the Trump administration's ongoing policy of "maximum pressure with commitment." Accordingly, he emphasized that Japan will support the US administration with the support of China to immediately put more pressure on North Korea.
