The US is about to have a new Navy Commander
President Trump has nominated Admiral Bill Moran to be the next Chief of Naval Operations, replacing Admiral John Richardson, who is retiring.
This information was released by the US Department of Defense on April 11. According to a press release from the Department of Defense, if the US President's nomination is approved by the US Senate, Vice Commander of the Navy, Admiral Bill Moran, will assume the position of head of the US Navy.
