The US Air Force plans to purchase two Transporter Ejector (TEL) models with the same shape, size, radar signature and infrared signature as the Russian S-300PMU-1/2 system. They will be deployed at the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) for testing new weapons and training pilots.

The simulators will help pilots practice identifying enemy equipment on the battlefield, while maintenance and operating costs are much lower than deploying real weapons. Equipment that generates heat and radar signals also helps them simulate reality as closely as possible.

The AFMC plan is likely related to the contract to buy two sets of 36D6M1 surveillance radars made by Ukraine earlier this year. The 36D6 radar is an important component of the S-300 system, which specializes in detecting targets such as cruise missiles and low-flying fighter jets. In addition to Russia and China, the S-300 system is also in service with many countries that are rivals of the US, such as Iran and Syria.

On September 5, the younger brother of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his resignation as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Business and his renunciation of his parliamentary status. Sharing on his personal Twitter page, Mr. Jo Johnson said the reason for his resignation was due to a conflict between family feelings and national interests.

Jo Johnson, 47, took over as Secretary of State for Business when his brother became Prime Minister. Unlike his staunch Brexit supporter, Jo Johnson has supported a second referendum on whether Britain should leave the EU. It is unclear whether his decision to resign as an MP is effective immediately or whether he will simply not run for re-election to Parliament.

In a speech in Ankara this morning, September 5, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed his determination to establish a safe zone in northeastern Syria in cooperation with the US by the end of September, but was ready to do it unilaterally if necessary.

President Erdogan also threatened the European Union by saying he would open its borders to refugees who want to reach Europe. Erdogan said he would use this option if he did not receive international support to deal with the Syrian refugee problem. In 2016, the EU-Türkiye agreement to stem the flow of migrants into the bloc came into effect.

The deal is aimed at stemming the flow of millions of refugees from Türkiye into the European Union. Türkiye says it hosts 3.5 million refugees, but the United Nations says the figure is 2.9 million.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, President Trump emphasized that the US will not cooperate with Huawei because this company is a threat to national security and is a major concern of the country's military and intelligence agencies.

It is unclear whether President Trump's comments imply a change in his willingness to discuss the Chinese tech giant in trade talks with Beijing.

Earlier, President Trump said he was willing to discuss Huawei in negotiations to reach a deal with Beijing. President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping also agreed that if the US eases restrictions on Huawei, Beijing will buy agricultural products from Washington.

Speaking to reporters, Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said: "At least 10 civilians were killed and 42 people were taken to hospitals."

Videos and images posted on social media showed the explosion at a checkpoint near the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) headquarters and the US Embassy in Afghanistan, destroying cars and shops.

According to witnesses, the suicide bomber blew himself up while hundreds of people were standing or walking across the street.

The Taliban attack occurred in the context that this force and the US have reached a draft peace agreement, according to which the US plans to withdraw 5,000 troops from Afghanistan and close 5 military bases within 135 days. In return, the Taliban will commit to not allowing terrorist organizations such as the international network al-Qaeda or the self-proclaimed "Islamic State" (IS) to take advantage of Afghanistan as a "springboard" to carry out attacks on the US and its allies.
