The US has released the bodyguard of international terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.
AFP reported on September 22nd that the Pentagon announced Abdul Shalabi, a Saudi Arabian national accused by the US military of being a bodyguard for international terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, has been repatriated after more than a decade of detention at Guantanamo Bay.

Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook said: "The United States has worked with the Government of Saudi Arabia to ensure the handover (of the individual) is in accordance with security measures and with appropriate humane treatment."
Shalabi was captured by the Pakistani army in December 2001 and transferred to Guantanamo in January 2002.
