"The United States and Britain once again did not want the UN Security Council to issue a statement regarding the terrorist attack in Damascus. Our trade agency was damaged. A day ago, their humanitarian aid distribution point was also attacked by terrorists," Nebenzya told reporters.
"We offered the members of the Security Council to read the Security Council statement to the press, but the American and British sides said that they were not ready to accept it. This happens all the time. The United States and Britain have always refused to consider these actions as acts of terrorism," - the Russian permanent representative said.
Previously, the Russian trade representative office in Damascus was shelled by terrorists with mortars on February 6.
