Myanmar lost heavily before playing Vietnam
The co-host team of the 2016 AFF Cup, on November 14, lost 0-3 to Oman in the final friendly match before meeting Vietnam in the opening match of Group B.
Despite playing at home and hoping for a win to create momentum to conquer the AFF Cup, Myanmar players still let their opponents control the game for most of the time. They were completely outclassed, the attack rarely created opportunities, while the defense made many mistakes. Oman punished Myanmar's defense with goals from Salem (minute 11), Said (54) and Al Khaldi (68).
