In 2016, Nghe An electricity revenue increased by nearly 34%
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 15, Nghe An Electricity Company held a customer appreciation conference in 2016. Attending were leaders of departments and branches, along with many typical customers of the electricity industry.
In 2016, thanks to implementing many solutions to reform administrative procedures, improve the investment and business environment and enhance competitiveness, Nghe An Electricity Company basically completed the business targets assigned by the Corporation. Total revenue reached 3,828,150 billion VND, an increase of nearly 34% compared to 2015.

The company's commercial electricity output is estimated at 2,350 million kWh, up 22.5% compared to 2015. Of which, the construction industry sector accounts for 38.8%, and consumer management accounts for 48.5%. The high growth in 2016's commercial output is mainly due to the construction industry sector of cement factories coming into operation. This sector alone accounts for 38.8% of the company's total output. Thanks to accurate forecasting of load development needs, there is no imbalance in electricity supply and demand.
Currently, the Company cooperates with 4 banks: BIDV, Vietinbank, Vietcombank, and Agribank to carry out electricity bill collection.
Over the past years, Vietnam Electricity Group has truly innovated its thinking in production and business, shifting from the perspective of electricity distribution to customer service, service quality, and customer satisfaction as a measure of the effectiveness of production and business activities.
Previously, Nghe An Electricity Company only implemented basic indicators on electricity business such as commercial electricity output, electricity loss rate, average selling price, electricity collection rate. Since 2013, there have been 14 additional quantitative indicators to evaluate the quality of customer service.

In 2016, Nghe An Power Company focused on improving the quality of customer service, in which communication with customers was given special attention by the Company and determined the goal of providing safe, continuous and stable electricity to meet the needs of economic and social development and the essential needs of the people.

After receiving customer feedback, speaking at the conference, Mr. Trinh Phuong Tram - Director of Nghe An Electricity Company thanked customers, agencies, social organizations... for accompanying the Company during the past time.
In 2017, the company will focus on investing in the power grid to minimize incidents, meet high load growth demand and reduce power loss. At the same time, continue to review, consolidate and improve the quality of customer service in accordance with Directive 989/CT-EVN of Vietnam Electricity Group.
