"Within the framework of the task of building military-technical cooperation, Rosoboronexport employees sign two or three contracts with foreign partners every day and make them as many commercial offers. Thanks to their active work, in 2016 Rosoboronexport delivered Russian weapons and military equipment to more than 50 countries with a total contract value of more than 13 billion US dollars," - said Mr. Mikheyev.

Mr. Mikheyev noted that currently the company's contract package is about $45 billion, Russia implements about 5000 international contracts in the field of military-technical cooperation.

"This is a positive signal for the Russian defense industry and the global market. Maintaining and increasing export volumes not only creates a domestic economic effect, but also strengthens Russia's influence in different regions of the world," said the head of Rosoboronexport.
