The Department of Planning and Investment said: Based on the needs of localities, in 2016, the province will mobilize resources to implement a number of key projects including: Improving the clean water loss network and building new booster pumping stations in Vinh city; Upgrading and expanding the water supply system of Cua Lo town (from 3,000m³/day.night to 13,000m3/day.night); Expand and upgrade the water supply system of Thai Hoa town (from 4,000m³/ng.night up to 16,000 m³/ng.dime); Renovate and increase the capacity of Yen Thanh town water supply plant from 2,000m³/ng.night up to 5,000m³/ng.dime; build a new clean water supply plant in Hoang Mai town, capacity 30,000m³/ng.night, Nghia Dan water supply plant, capacity 5,000m³/ng.night and some other urgent projects...

Some urban areas such as Hoang Mai, Thai Hoa, towns and townships will be invested in new water supply systems to ensure that the rate of clean water supply in urban areas from type IV and above reaches 85%, and in urban areas from type V reaches 70% in 2016.
