Many cultural and festival activities to serve the public and attract tourists to Da Nang will be held throughout 2016 on both banks of the Han River.

Many cultural events and festivals are held on both banks of the Han River (Da Nang) throughout 2016.

According to the plan of cultural and festival activities on both sides of the Han River in 2016 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, in the near future, during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2016, there will be two major art programs: the art program "Welcoming Spring 2016" performed by Trung Vuong Theater on New Year's Eve (February 7, 2016) at the northern park, east bank of the Han River Bridge; and the art program "Da Nang in Spring" scheduled to take place on the evening of the 6th day of the Lunar New Year (February 13, 2016) at the park opposite Han Market, Bach Dang Street.

The Clipper Race international yacht racing team is expected to arrive in Da Nang around February 2016. Da Nang also maintains regular activities every weekend on both banks of the Han River such as street music performances every Saturday night on the eastern sidewalk of Bach Dang Street; art performances for audiences to watch the Dragon breathe fire and water combined with sound and light effects every Saturday night; pilot wind music performances every Sunday morning on the west bank of the Dragon Bridge (opposite the Cham Sculpture Museum); traditional art performances every Sunday evening by Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater alternately performed in two areas of the northern park, the east bank of the Han River Bridge and the west bank of the Dragon Bridge (opposite the Cham Sculpture Museum).
