In 2017, Nghe An tax revenue is estimated to reach over 12,000 billion VND.

(Baonghean.vn) - That is the data reported at the 9th Conference of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee recently held.

According to the report, the budget revenue in 2017 in Nghe An is estimated at 12,030 billion VND, equal to 103.8% of the estimate and up 9.3% compared to 2016. Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at 10,631.7 billion VND, reaching 100% of the estimate, up 7.7%; import-export revenue is estimated at 1,400 billion VND, reaching 145% of the estimate, up 25.2% compared to 2016.

In 2018, the total state budget revenue in Nghe An province was assigned by the Ministry of Finance to be 11,991 billion VND, an increase of 401 billion VND compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council in 2017. The total source of local budget expenditure was over 23,500 billion VND.

Sharing at the 9th Provincial Party Committee Conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh said: "Currently, Nghe An ranks 5th in the country in tax collection from enterprises, which is a commendable result. The province needs to continue to accompany and support enterprises."

In 2017, business and enterprise activities showed many positive signs with over 1,500 newly established enterprises, with a total registered capital of over 8,300 billion VND.

2018 is the second year of the 2017-2020 State budget stabilization period and a pivotal year of important significance in promoting the implementation and striving to complete the goals of the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2016-2020. Nghe An aims to strive to achieve a reasonable economic growth rate, restructure the State budget and public debt in a safe and sustainable direction, prioritizing national defense, security, social security tasks, reforming the public service sector, and administrative procedures.

Thoroughly manage and use state budget resources to save and effectively, in parallel with maximizing the mobilization of resources to ensure stable economic development, creating momentum for development for the entire 2017-2020 period.
