Review and respond to citizen petitions according to the provisions of law

At the meeting with the Provincial Party Secretary, citizens presented their reflections and recommendations according to the content of the petition.Representatives of residents of hamlets 2, 12, 14, Nghi Long commune (Nghi Loc district) complained about the failure of the Nghi Loc district Land Clearance Council to prepare compensation records for the dammed rice fields west of Long Thuan canal when reclaiming land to implement the WHA Industrial Zone 1 Nghe An Industrial Park Project. The residents requested the Provincial Party Secretary to direct the establishment of an inspection team to resolve the issue.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh acknowledged the citizens' opinions, requested relevant departments to receive the representative's petition, and assigned the Provincial People's Committee to resolve and respond to the citizens' petitions according to the provisions of law, and assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to re-monitor a number of contents that the local government and functional agencies had handled.

Mr. Nguyen Dac Tien in Block 4, Doi Cung Ward (Vinh City) complained about the compensation and land acquisition policy to implement the Vinh Ancient Citadel Project, specifically the Compensation and Site Clearance Council only compensated for land, not trees for his family; there was a phenomenon of citizens encroaching on 2 plots of land for profit, requesting the authorities to strictly handle according to the provisions of the law.

The case that Mr. Tien reported is being handled and investigated by the police investigation agency (Provincial Police), so the Provincial Party Secretary requested that the Provincial Police soon have an investigation conclusion and answer for the citizens to understand.

In addition, citizens also made recommendations and reflected on issues related to the incorrect determination of residential land and garden land areas; the issuance of land use right certificates with insufficient areas; violations in land management and use by district and commune authorities; the issue of debt for survey and planning for new rural construction in localities; the regime for people with meritorious services to the revolution, etc.

Citizens need to strictly comply with the Law on Complaints and the Law on Denunciation.

After listening to the reports and explanations from sectors, units and localities on issues related to the content of citizens' reflections and complaints, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh directly explained and answered some contents within his authority. Regarding some other specific contents, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the tasks to the relevant agencies and localities to clarify and answer citizens; At the same time, he requested the specialized departments to research and advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to direct the settlement in accordance with the provisions of law.
