Nam Dan: 1 teenager died from drowning

On the morning of June 5, according to Mr. Hoang Nghia Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Loc commune, Nam Dan district, a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of a child.

Accordingly, at the above time, Nguyen Van Quang (born in 1999), residing in Hamlet 3, Nam Loc Commune, and his younger brother, after working in the fields, due to the hot weather, went down to Lam River to bathe. While bathing, Quang fell into a sand suction hole with a very strong current.

Hearing the screams, many people quickly came to rescue the two brothers but could only save the younger brother. Nguyen Van Quang was drowned.

Quang's body was also recovered by local people shortly afterwards.
