Nam Dan: Supplying nearly 7,000 tons of cement for new rural roads

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to strive to achieve the status of a New Rural District by the end of 2017, Nam Dan has just supplied 6,782/7,850 tons of cement for rural traffic construction for communes.

Of which, Nam Phuc received 1,275 tons, Nam Tan 1,212 tons, Khanh Son 1,550 tons, Nam Linh 1,300 tons, Xuan Lam 1,136 tons, Kim Lien 250 tons. After receiving cement, the communes started to build rural concrete roads and other new rural projects.

The district has established 6 working groups to focus on directing 5 communes that have not met new rural standards (Nam Phuc, Khanh Son, Nam Tan, Nam Linh, Xuan Lam) and building a model new rural area in Kim Lien commune.

Currently, Nam Dan is surveying district and inter-commune roads for upgrading and repairing; surveying to support the construction of a clean water plant in the Nam Nam region; surveying to select locations to build a chain linkage model, safe consumption of agricultural products, and building high-tech agricultural production areas in Nam Tan, Nam Loc, and Kim Lien.
