(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 28, the Women's Union of Nam Dan district organized a ceremony to present breeding cows and a shelter to poor women and scholarships to poor children who have overcome difficulties to study well.

Responding to the special emulation project for poor women and children in 2016. Up to now, after more than 3 months of implementation, the Women's Union at all levels in Nam Dan district has mobilized 241,893,000 VND, thereby supporting the construction of 8 charity houses, each worth 20 million VND for 8 member households; presenting 6 breeding cows, each worth 15 million VND to 6 poor women members in especially difficult circumstances; and awarding 10 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND to 10 poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well in the district.

Representatives of the district leaders and the Women's Union of Nam Dan district presented shelters and scholarships to students.

This is a meaningful activity of the Women's Union at all levels in the district, contributing to encouraging and sharing difficulties with poor women in especially difficult circumstances, poor students who overcome difficulties to study well and continue to strive to improve in life./.
