Nam Dan: Exciting national festival

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 22, voters of Nam Dan district enthusiastically cast their ballots to elect excellent, virtuous and talented representatives to serve as deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.

In this election, voters of Nam Dan district elected 3 National Assembly deputies, 4 Provincial People's Council deputies, 37 District People's Council deputies and 627 Commune and Town People's Council deputies. Thanks to proactively and well-implemented preparations for the election day, 185 polling stations in Nam Dan were brightly decorated with flags, banners, and slogans hanging all over the main roads and village gates, creating a bustling atmosphere of the festival for all the people.

At exactly 7am, all the election units in Nam Dan district solemnly held opening ceremonies and conducted voting. In general, security and order at 185 polling stations in the district were ensured, the election took place in accordance with the law, democratically, and voters voted with a high sense of responsibility.

By 6:00 p.m., the voter turnout rate in Nam Dan district reached 98%.
