With $68 million, the male lead of "Transformers: The Last Knight" has dethroned "The Rock" to become the highest-paid actor in the world, according to Forbes magazine.

Mark Wahlberg has been quite active over the past year, starring in films including "Daddy's Home 2" and "Transformers: The Last Knight." In addition, the rapper also earns a lot of money from commercials and the reality TV show Wahlburgers.

Wahlberg earned a total of $68 million from June 2016 to June 2017 and became very rich, but the blockbuster "Transformers: The Last Knight" was crushed by critics and grossed more than $600 million, far less than the $1 billion that previous installments of "Transformers" had.
