Famous actor Morgan Freeman accused of harassing 8 women
A total of 16 people have come forward to CNN about Freeman's sexual harassment, eight of whom say they were victims.
According to information posted by CNN, a young production assistant thought she had a dream job when in the summer of 2015, she was cast in the comedy project "Going In Style" with veteran actors Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin.

But the job quickly turned into a nightmare as she was harassed by Freeman, who made lewd comments about her appearance and clothing on a daily basis. Freeman would touch her buttocks or rub her back.
Freeman “kept trying to lift my skirt up and ask me if I was wearing underwear. This happened several times. And when Alan Arkin saw it, he told Morgan to stop. He was confused and didn’t know what to say,” she said.
Freeman's harassment didn't stop there. According to another source who spoke to CNN, a woman who was a member of the production team of the 2012 film "Now You See Me" accused Freeman of harassing both her and her assistant by making inappropriate comments about their bodies.

A total of 16 people have come forward to CNN about Freeman's sexual harassment, eight of whom said they were victims of the harassment. The other eight said they witnessed Freeman's harassment. The 16 people described similar incidents of sexual harassment by Morgan Freeman, which often occurred at promotional events for his films and at his production company, Revelations Entertainment.
Morgan repeatedly acted in ways that made women feel uncomfortable at work, they said. But they did not report Freeman’s behavior because they feared for their jobs. Instead, some women said they developed ways to counteract Freeman’s harassment, such as changing their clothes when they knew he would be there.
After the article was published, Freeman issued a statement in which he said, "Anyone who knows me or works with me knows I am not the type of person to intentionally offend or make anyone feel uncomfortable. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected - it was never my intention to cause that."
