Nam Dinh beat Da Nang in extra time; Ho Chi Minh City held to a draw by Thanh Hoa at home

Ukraine won the U20 World Cup

This was the first ever U20 World Cup final between Ukraine and South Korea. The Asian team got off to a great start with Lee Kang-in opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the fifth minute. The goal came after a VAR-assisted penalty after Danylo Beskorovainyi fouled Kim Se-yun near the 16m50 line.

However, Ukraine had a hero in the final in striker Vladyslav Supriaga. The 19-year-old striker, who plays for the famous Dynamo Kiev team, scored twice, late in the first half and early in the second half, to put Ukraine back in front against South Korea.

The first goal was a quick strike in the box after a free kick. The second goal was somewhat fortunate when the Korean player, in an attempt to block Yukhym Konoplia's dribble, set up Supriaga to run down and finish against goalkeeper Lee Kwang-yeon.
