(Baonghean.vn) – Five days have passed since Nguyen Dinh Lien died, an atmosphere of mourning has enveloped his small house in block 7, Nghi Thuy ward (Cua Lo town)…

Nguyen Dinh Lien (born in 1995) is the only son in a family of 5 sisters. Active and eager to learn, in April 2015, he decided to study abroad in Japan while working. The day Lien left, his family placed all their hopes on him. Everyone thought that studying abroad in Japan would bring good things, his life would be better, but unexpectedly, everything ended in tragedy.

Lien's family and relatives were completely devastated when they received the news of her death.

In the past few months, when she became fluent in Japanese, Lien studied at school and worked part-time to pay for her tuition and send money back home to support her family.

Because of the hard work of studying and working at the same time, I became seriously ill near the time before my death. Therefore, on Christmas Eve, I did not go out but just stayed at home.

However, at 12am on December 24, I received a call from a friend (also Vietnamese) asking for help because there was a fight with a stranger at a nearby restaurant.

Upon receiving the information, despite being sick, Lien still tried to go to her friend. When she arrived, the fight had ended. Lien tried to find out where her friend was when she was suddenly hit hard on the head by a stranger with a hard object (suspected to be a vase), causing her to lose consciousness.

After being taken to the hospital for nearly 50 minutes, Nguyen Dinh Lien died due to severe injuries at 1:00 a.m. on December 25.

Brothers, friends, neighbors come to offer condolences to your family.

Currently, Chiba Police Department (Japan) has completed the autopsy and begun handing over the body to the family.

On the afternoon of December 28, a relative of Lien completed the necessary procedures to be able to bring her body back to Vietnam soon.

Currently, Chi Ba Provincial Police are continuing to investigate and clarify the incident to find the perpetrator.

As for Lien's family, since receiving the bad news, the family has not had a moment of peace, along with that, the debt of more than 300 million is weighing down on the family even more.
