Nam Em won Miss Photogenic award, leading the group of Asian contestants.
The Miss Photogenic title and two silver medals in the sub-contest helped the Vietnamese representative become the leading candidate among contestants from Asian countries.
The gala performance and award ceremony of the Miss Earth sub-contest took place on the evening of October 24 (local time).
Surpassing 82 contestants, Vietnamese representative Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em won the title of Miss Photogenic at the Miss Earth 2016 contest, held in Myanmar. Behind Nam Em was the host country's beauty and the Venezuelan beauty in third place.

Along with two silver medals in the talent and evening gown competitions, the Vietnamese representative now holds three awards. This achievement helps Miss Mekong Delta 2015 rise to the top position of the Asian contestants. In the competition’s rankings, Nam Em is ranked third, after two representatives from the Americas, Ecuador and Mexico.

Beauty site SashFactor invited Nam Em to interact online with fans. The interaction attracted 40,000 views and followers. The Vietnamese representative was praised by many international audiences for being humorous and friendly.
After the gala performance and awards ceremony, the contestants will have four days of practice to prepare for the final night on the evening of October 29. The event will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena with 20,000 seats.
