The only male student from Nghe An province who scored 10 in Math
(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2019 National High School Exam, the only 10 in Math in Nghe An belonged to a student from Huynh Thuc Khang High School. That student is Nguyen Luong Phuc - an excellent all-round student.

33 Nghe An candidates got 10 points in the 2019 National High School Exam
(Baonghean.vn) - At 6:15 a.m. this morning (July 14), Nghe An Department of Education and Training announced the 2019 National High School Exam scores and 33 candidates scored 10 in the exam.
No surprise with a score of 10
Like many other candidates, last night (July 13), when the Ministry of Education and Training announced the exam scores, Nguyen Luong Phuc's family had a restless, sleepless night.
The wait was not in vain. This morning, the family was overwhelmed with joy after reading the news in Nghe An Newspaper about the announcement of the scores. Phuc was the only student to get a score of 10 in Math. He also got quite high scores in the remaining subjects, including 9.25 points in Physics and 8.75 points in Chemistry. This achievement was enough for him to confidently pass NV1 to enter the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi.

Sharing about this result, Nguyen Luong Phuc said: Right after taking the exam and checking the answers, I thought I got a 10 in Math so I wasn't too surprised by this result. However, I was only surprised when I was the only candidate in Nghe An to get a 10 and one of 12 candidates nationwide to get a 10 in Math.
Phuc is quite satisfied with the remaining subjects. However, he still regrets that if he had been more careful, his test scores would have been higher. "Physics is my forte, but I did not do as well as expected. I also regret Chemistry because I did well on the difficult questions, but got the simple, theoretical questions wrong," Phuc confided.
Up to this point, Nguyen Luong Phuc is also the candidate with the highest exam score at Huynh Thuc Khang High School. According to the school's board of directors, this was also a predicted result, because previously in the university entrance exam organized by Vinh University High School for the Gifted, Phuc held the top position. After that, in many other exam mock exams, Phuc was always in the top 5.

Previously, at the Provincial Excellent Student Competition in Grade 11, Phuc also won Second Prize in Physics with a very high score, almost equal to First Prize. Teacher Cao Thanh Bao - Principal of the school said: Phuc is a well-rounded and hard-working student. We are proud of his achievements and this is also an honor for the school.
Playing games close to exam day
Despite his excellent academic achievements, Nguyen Luong Phuc is normally a quite active student, likes sports and group activities.Phuc also confessed: I really like games and play them almost every day, even close to the National High School Exam, I still spend about 2 hours a day for entertainment.
In Phuc's opinion, gaming is not entirely bad. On the contrary, if played in moderation, it is a form of entertainment to reduce stress. Phuc's father - Nguyen Van Thinh, who has many years of experience in the education industry, also said: In our family, we are not too strict and do not put too much pressure on our children. However, we will guide our children to "study when studying, play when playing". More importantly, we must create in our children the will to strive, make efforts and not be afraid of difficulties.

Talking about his son, Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh also said: During his high school years, Phuc was not always successful. For example, in the entrance exam to grade 10 three years ago, Phuc failed the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted even though he had previously won a prize in grade 9. In the list of candidates admitted to class A1, Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Phuc's achievements were also very modest, ranked "near the bottom of the list".
To keep him from worrying too much, his family often encourages him. Phuc himself, from past failures, is also a lesson for him to strive and excel in his studies.
To have achieved today's success, Phuc said that he is grateful to many people, namely his parents, the school, and the homeroom teacher who teaches Math in class 12 A1. In particular, Phuc also thanks his close friends, a group of 4 students in the class who regularly study together, share with each other the difficulties in the exam preparation process and together set the determination to do well in the National High School Exam. The good news is that, apart from Phuc, the rest of the students all achieved very high scores from 25.5 to 27 points.

Sharing more about the secret to studying well, Phuc said: To study well, you must first be diligent, master the knowledge in the textbooks and do a lot of exercises to get used to the types of exercises. In addition, studying in groups is also very good because each person can make up for each other's shortcomings and from there will progress together.
The entire Huynh Thuc Khang High School has 22 students with a total test score of 26.0 or higher, 159 students with a total test score of 24.0 or higher.
