'Village school' male student scored 2 perfect scores and dreams of becoming a journalist

When we asked to meet and celebrate with Ho Xuan Luan, who lives in Hamlet 2, Tan Tien, Ky Tan Commune, Tan Ky District, he said he was in Hanoi. It turned out that after taking the National High School Exam, Luan worked hard in Hanoi to earn some extra income for his family.

Talking about the secret to studying well in block C, Ho Xuan Luan said: "My secret is to always do everything, no matter how small, with a serious and dedicated attitude. In addition, reading a lot of books, newspapers, social news... will help us form sharp, logical thinking, enrich our vocabulary, and reduce inertia."

Like his classmates, Luan was born into a poor farming family, working in the fields all year round. The family has four siblings, most of whom are farmers and have families, Luan is the youngest. Every holiday, New Year or summer break, he takes the bus to Hanoi to find work.

This time, he is working at an advertising studio. Over the phone, Luan boasted that every month, after deducting living expenses, he receives a salary of 3 million VND. He saves that money and sends it to his parents. Because of those difficulties and hardships, his parents all oriented and hoped that he would pursue a career in the police, military or education to reduce his education costs. Few people knew that the burning passion in this poor student was to become a journalist.

Luan confided: "I want to pursue my burning passion since I was a little kid, which is to become a true journalist, with both heart and vision in the future. I hope to contribute my strength and intelligence to contributing and serving the community. I also hope to have the opportunity to collaborate and interview famous people in many different fields."

Ho Xuan Luan has been serious about his dream since very early on. For many years now, every day, Luan reads books, researches documents, and reads newspapers to enrich his knowledge and language. In addition, Luan often writes articles for his friends to read. Seeing his friends enthusiastically accepting them, Luan is extremely happy. Sometimes, Luan writes articles for his teachers to read, and they will give him comments. Luan did so hoping that he could practice his writing skills more.
