Male student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted won Silver Medal at European Physics Olympiad
This is the highest medal of the Vietnamese delegation at this year's competition. The person who brought home this medal is a male student studying in grade 11 at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
This evening (July 19), teacher Cao Thi Lan Thanh - Principal of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted said: The Vietnamese delegation participating in the European Physics Olympiad won 4 medals at this year's competition. Among them, student Phan Quang Triet - student of class 11A3 - Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted won the Silver Medal. This is also the male student of class 11 who won the second prize at the national excellent student competition last school year.

Previously, in early May, the Vietnam Physics Society announced the results of the selection round for Vietnam's European Physics Olympiad team and selected the 5 best candidates to participate in the European Physics Olympiad EuPhO 2024.
This year’s competition took place in Kutaisi, Georgia from July 14 to July 20. This is a Physics competition for high school students from European countries and some other countries as guests, including Vietnam. Contestants participating in this competition will take a theoretical (5-hour) and practical (5-hour) exam.
In addition to the Silver Medal, the Vietnamese delegation won 3 more Bronze Medals, belonging to students from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and Thai Binh High School for the Gifted./.
