A photo series of a Vietnamese student dressed as Harry Potter is causing a stir among young wizard fans in England. Although it has been a long time since the last Harry Potter book was published or made into a movie, fans of this series still hold a deep love for the boy wizard.
That's why, when this cosplay photo set was released, many young people were surprised by the 70-80% similarity between the Hanoi male student and actor Daniel Radcliffe (who played Harry Potter in the film series of the same name).
Looking for the owner of the photo series, I learned that the main character who is currently causing a "fever" on forums is named Hoang Van Thiet, from Nghe An.
Thiet is currently studying business administration at the Institute of Technology and Posts and Telecommunications. He shared: "Up to now, I have known Harry Potter for 8 years, when the 7th book of the series was just released, I started to know it through TV. Since then, I have loved the character Harry as well as the entire work about the boy wizard."
Because of his love for Harry Potter, Thiet collected many books and items related to Harry Potter. He even opened a Harry Potter-themed cafe in the heart of Hanoi.

Thiet is often commented by many of his friends that he looks quite similar to Daniel Radcliffe. "I find this interesting because obviously Harry Potter is known by many people, right?", Thiet said.
The photo series is Thiet's first work cosplaying the character Harry Potter with the help of a photographer friend. "Because I've been a fan of the book series and the movie series since I was little, I've wanted to transform into my idol ever since. Only now do I have the right conditions, accessories, and a photographer so I can fulfill my wish," Thiet confided.
To take this photo set, Thiet prepared costumes and some props similar to the Harry Potter movies. The least laborious part was the makeup because his face was already very similar to the original. However, Thiet still felt unsatisfied with this cosplay photo set because he thought he had not invested seriously in the setting, as well as deliberately holding Lord Voldemort's wand to create a difference...
After the photo series was shared on Facebook, Thiet received a lot of attention from the online community. Thiet said: "I received a lot of positive comments from friends. There were both compliments and criticisms. However, it was just a normal cosplay photo series, so I just hope it doesn't become too much in everyone's eyes."
Not only does he love Harry Potter, Thiet is also a cosplay enthusiast. In the future, he wants to try cosplaying some of his favorite characters.
