Young man fought back with knife leading to death

On December 20, Lao Cai City Police are temporarily detaining Nguyen Dinh Dinh (born 2000, residing in Group 15, Nam Cuong Ward, Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province) to investigate the collision on the road that led to death.

Previously, at around 7:30 p.m. on December 18, Nguyen Dinh Dinh (born in 2000, residing in Group 15, Nam Cuong Ward, Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province) was driving a motorbike with license plate 24B1-658.66 from Road B3 to Coc Sa Road (Group 8, Nam Cuong Ward, Lao Cai City) when two young men on a motorbike followed closely and forced him to stop.

Then, two young men used iron rods to chase and beat Dinh. Having a switchblade on him, Dinh pulled it out and stabbed one of the men chasing him multiple times, causing the man to die on the way to the emergency room.

The person stabbed to death was identified as Pham Van Minh (born in 1991, residing in group 34, Pho Moi ward, Lao Cai city).

The results of the crime scene investigation and autopsy showed that Pham Van Minh died from a sharp knife piercing the pericardium and lungs.

After the incident, the authorities persuaded Dinh to surrender to the police./.
