(Baonghean.vn) - That is the purpose of the Competition "Skills in writing judgments and court minutes". The competition attracted the participation of 52 contestants. All of them are judges and secretaries at 21 district-level people's courts as well as 5 provincial-level people's courts and courtrooms.

On May 28, Nghe An Provincial People's Court held the opening ceremony of the first "Skills in writing judgments and court minutes" contest.

On the side of the host unit of the contest, there was comrade Tran Ngoc Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court and leaders of the court and the Provincial People's Court department.

Realizing that the unclear judgments and decisions cause difficulties in the enforcement of judgments, as well as the substandard quality of the minutes, making it difficult to appeal, protest or file a final appeal. Therefore, the People's Court of Nghe An province organized the first "Skills in writing judgments and minutes of court sessions" contest. Through the contest, it will help to properly assess the nature of the staff in terms of this skill, at the same time help to comprehensively assess and find out the existing problems and limitations to gain experience and have a direction for training and professional development.

The contest included 52 contestants who were judges and secretaries at 21 district-level People's Courts and 5 provincial People's Courts.

In his opening speech, Comrade Tran Ngoc Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court emphasized the importance of improving the skills of writing judgments and court minutes for officials holding judicial positions. Judgments and minutes must have sharp arguments to serve the fight against and propaganda against crime as well as bring true and accurate legal values ​​when resolving civil and administrative cases.

The competition will be held in the courtroom with real case files. The Organizing Committee will recreate a mock trial with additional procedural and content situations, requiring the contestants, especially the judges and secretaries, to concentrate fully to grasp the content of the case, ensuring that the verdict and decision are the result of the debate in court.

The competition is in written form and takes place during the same period as the mock trial.

The Organizing Committee representative hopes that the contest will not only be limited to the contestants but will also aim to motivate and encourage officials, especially those holding judicial positions, to always learn more to improve their working skills.
