Improving the quality of the business community in Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 10th, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to implement the Project on Training the Team of Entrepreneurs in Nghe An and inaugurated the Entrepreneur Management Training Course.Attending and directing the conference was Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.



Comrade Le Xuan Dai delivered a speech at the Conference.



Overview of the Conference

The objective of the Project is to build a strong team of entrepreneurs in Nghe An, both in quantity and quality, capable of strategic business planning, dynamic, perceptive, and adaptable to changes in the business environment; possessing a national spirit, business culture, high social responsibility, and sufficient capacity and qualifications to lead and manage businesses that operate with quality, efficiency, high competitiveness, close linkages, and actively participate in domestic and global production networks and value chains. The goal is to have many businesses and entrepreneurs with brands reaching national and Southeast Asian regional levels by 2020.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai acknowledged that with over 10,000 businesses and more than 30,000 entrepreneurs operating in the province, the business community has made a significant contribution to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

However, currently, although there are many businesses, they are not strong; most are small-scale and have weak business management capabilities and skills. Therefore, to enhance the competitiveness of businesses to meet the requirements of regional and global economic integration, the comrade suggested that the Department of Planning and Investment should coordinate with relevant agencies and business associations to conduct surveys and assess the needs of entrepreneurs in order to develop appropriate training and development programs; and to build a training plan and implement effective training for entrepreneurs. The Provincial People's Committee will publicly and transparently disclose policies and mechanisms… creating the most favorable environment for businesses and entrepreneurs to develop their production and business activities.
