(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 8th in Vinh City, the Provincial Military Command organized a conference to review the experience of troop deployment and guard duties in 2015.

Attending the conference were Colonel Luong Hong Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, and leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the command.

Colonel Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Commander for Military Affairs, chaired the meeting.

Overview of the conference

Over the past period, the Provincial Military Command has led and directed its subordinate agencies and units to thoroughly understand and implement the directives and guidelines of the General Staff and the Staff of Military Region 4 on troop deployment and guarding throughout the army, as well as the management and use of weapons and ammunition, and combat readiness.

The agencies and units have organized the staffing, equipment, and professional training of guard platoons, squads, and platoons for military control and guard duties according to the prescribed forms and instructions from superiors; organized 24/7 guard duty, strictly managed military personnel, people, and vehicles entering and exiting the main and auxiliary gates; ensured absolute safety of the agencies and units; and contributed to ensuring safety and social order in the garrison area.

The organization conducted training exercises on combat plans to protect agencies and units in various situations. The professional military control force of the command headquarters actively patrolled and promptly corrected cases of soldiers behaving improperly and military vehicles participating in traffic in violation of regulations.

Agencies and units have closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to promptly resolve issues related to national defense land.
