Improving the quality of the trade union's inspection committee's activities.
Inspection and supervision are indispensable parts of trade union activities; doing a good job of inspection and supervision will make a significant contribution to the fulfillment of the trade union's political tasks.
On the morning of March 14th, the Provincial Labor Union held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution 06b/NQ-TLĐ dated August 3, 2015, of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 11th term, and 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01/KL-BCH dated March 15, 2021, of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 12th term, on improving the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the trade union inspection committee.
The inspection, supervision, and activities of the Trade Union Inspection Committees at all levels in the province have always received the attention and guidance of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee.Provincial Labor UnionInspection officials at all levels demonstrate unity, courage, strong opinions, and responsibility in their work, and consistently receive support and favorable conditions from superiors and the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the trade union at the same level. As a result, the inspection and supervision activities of the trade union have undergone many positive changes, leaving a clear mark.
In implementing the Resolution's targets, the Provincial Labor Union conducted 164 financial inspections at lower levels, and the higher-level trade unions directly supervising the grassroots level conducted 3,948 inspections. Regarding compliance with regulations, the Provincial Labor Union conducted 99 inspections at lower levels, and the higher-level trade unions directly supervising the grassroots level conducted 3,935 inspections.

The Provincial Labor Federation also conducted inspections when there were signs of violations at two grassroots-level trade unions and disciplined three full-time trade union officials following disciplinary decisions from the Party. 100% of complaints and denunciations within the jurisdiction of the trade unions were resolved promptly, contributing to protecting the rights of union members and workers.
In implementing tasks and solutions, trade union levels have focused on disseminating and thoroughly understanding the contents related to inspection and supervision work. After each Congress, the Inspection Committees at all levels have developed operational regulations and work programs, focusing on important areas such as trade union finance, public asset management, collection and payment of membership fees, proactively resolving complex cases, and coordinating with relevant agencies to resolve complaints and denunciations.
Simultaneously, improve and strengthen the organization and enhance the quality of training and professional development for trade union inspection committee officials at all levels; ensure suitable working conditions and implement policies and mechanisms for trade union inspection committee officials; and promptly implement rewards and disciplinary measures.
Looking back at the results of 10 years of implementing Resolution 06b/NQ-TLD and 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01/KL-BCH, the conference also frankly acknowledged the shortcomings and limitations in the implementation process. From there, it identified the causes and proposed solutions to achieve the targets in the coming period.
The conference also heard seven presentations and operational experiences from various units. At this time, grassroots-level labor union units are also simultaneously organizing reviews of the 10-year implementation of Resolution 06b/NQ-TLĐ.
Concluding the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi – Vice President of the Provincial Labor Union – assessed the seriousness of the units in the activities of the inspection committee. She also acknowledged and responded to the heartfelt suggestions from the delegates. In the context of new developments,trade unionWhile there will be advantages, there will also be many difficulties and challenges. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union suggested that units continue to improve their professional skills and enhance the effectiveness of inspection and supervision work in the coming period.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Union also awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 7 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the 10 years of implementing Resolution 06b/NQ-TLĐ of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
