The 'Nghe An Workers Following Uncle Ho's Teachings' Award will be announced on the occasion of Workers' Month.

Morning of March 6,Labor FederationThe province held a Standing Committee meeting to give opinions and approve many important activities. Comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation chaired the meeting.

Based on the Plan to implement "Workers' Month" in 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, with the theme "Vietnamese working class: pioneering into a new era", the Provincial Confederation of Labor sets out the requirement that this year's Workers' Month, 100% of grassroots trade unions in all types of enterprises organize at least 1 activity in response to Workers' Month; 100% of grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies and public service units organize appropriate activities in response to Workers' Month in 2025.

Accordingly, trade unions at all levels will implement 5 contents: Program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", Program "Dialogue in May" and Forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party"; Program "Thanking workers"; Organizing the peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; introducing the development of party members and workers; Program "Propaganda, raising awareness of union members and workers".

The provincial level focuses on 3 activities: The launching ceremony of Workers' Month; the Forum of Creative Workers and organizing flag-raising and national anthem singing activities on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 at enterprises.

The conference also commented and approved the draft report assessing the results of coordination between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor in 2024, and implementing coordination content in 2025.

Also this morning, the Standing Committee gave comments on the draft Regulations for the Award "Nghe An Workers Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" for workers directly working at enterprises. The award will be announced on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.Worker2025 and held every 5 years.

Regarding the contents, acknowledging the contributions of the Standing Committee, comrade Kha Van Tam had specific conclusions and instructions for the committees to edit and complete before implementation.

With a serious working spirit, the delegates also gave their opinions on building the Regulations on the operation of the Nghe An Trade Union Social Fund; Regulations on decentralization of revenue, expenditure, financial and asset management and some contents under their authority.
